Director, Northwest Branch
Alexey Titov was appointed Director of the Northwest Branch of MegaFon in July 2017.
Alexey joined the MegaFon team in Novosibirsk in 2003, progressing from engineer to Technical director of the Siberian Branch. In January 2013, he was appointed CTO of the Company’s Far East Branch. He was involved in projects related to construction and launch of backbone and backhaul networks and satellite ground station networks for trunking and linking up remote base stations in Siberia and the Far East, as well as projects to replace radio subsystems and measures to improve efficiency and optimise the structure of the technical and IT functions.
Alexey became CTO of the Northwest Branch of MegaFon in November 2014. Under his leadership, the Company’s technology and infrastructure team implemented a number of vital projects, including replacing radio network equipment in 11 regions and the switching system in St Petersburg, a network optimization project to ensure high service quality, upgrading the LTE and LTE Advanced networks and a whole host of international, national and regional level projects, such as the FIFA 2018 World Cup draw, the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the 2017 Confederations Cup and many others.
Alexey Titov graduated from the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Computer Science’s Faculty of Computer Science as a mobile telecommunications engineer.
