Anatoly Gorbunov’s main strategic objectives in the new role will be to ensure market leadership with an emphasis on developing the business in line with the needs of digital clients and further improvement of the quality of MegaFon’s services in 14 regions of the Caucasus Federal District of Russia. Alexey Titov will be tasked with further developing the Company’s business and strengthening MegaFon’s leading positions in the North-West region.
The Caucasus Branch was previously led by Alexey Tyutin, who decided to leave the Company to pursue his own projects. The Northwest Branch was headed by Pavel Korchagin, who has been recently appointed as Chief Technical Officer of the Company.

Anatoly Gorbunov — began his career in telecommunications in 2003 as head of a separate division of MegaFon in Volgodonsk. In 2009 became head of the Rostov division of the Company’s Caucasus Branch. On 15 November 2010, Anatoly Gorbunov was appointed to take the helm of the Sochi development project ahead of the Olympic Games and as director of the Sochi division of MegaFon’s Caucasus Branch. Under his leadership, MegaFon successfully implemented a project to develop telecoms infrastructure for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, for which MegaFon was a general sponsor. Anatoly Gorbunov graduated from Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute as an engineer.
Alexey Titov — in 2001 — 2003, Alexey Titov worked at Giprosvyaz-4 as engineer of radio communications network design. In 2003, he joined the MegaFon team in Novosibirsk, progressing from engineer to Technical director of the Siberian Branch. In January 2013, he was appointed CTO of the Company’s Far East Branch and in November 2014 became CTO of the Northwest Branch of MegaFon. Alexey Titov graduated from the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Computer Science’s Faculty of Computer Science as a mobile telecommunications engineer.
