Elena Martynova is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in corporate communications and marketing.
She has been working as Deputy CEO at USM Group, a diversified international holding company, since 2012. She also serves as a member of the Executive Board and Director for Strategic Communications and Brand Development of MegaFon and is a member of the Board of Directors of Kommersant Publishing House. From 2012-2018, Elena was a member of the Board of Directors of the broadcaster UTH, which was at that time managed by USM Group and included Disney Russia, STS, U-TV, MuzTV and other TV channels. Over the course of her professional career, Ms. Martynova has held executive positions at several companies, including Hachette Filipacchi Publishing House, Russian Standard Corporation, Eurasia Group and others.
Elena is a winner of the Media Manager of Russia award. In 2019, she took second place in All-Russia rating of the best communications directors TOP-COMM. In 2019 and 2018, she ranked in the Top 3 among the best PR and corporate communications directors in Russia across all nominations in the Top-1000 Russian Managers list. For the last four years (2016-2019), Ms Martynova has been consistently rated first in the rating of top communications directors of the Russian Association of Managers and TOP-COMM in the Diversified Holding Groups category.
Elena graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
