MegaFon statement on potential split of Euroset
Moscow, Russian Federation (22 March 2017) — Public Joint Stock Company “MegaFon” (LSE: MFON), a leading Russian telecommunications operator (“MegaFon” or the “Company”), MegaFon can confirm that it is considering a potential transaction in relation to its investment in Euroset, the largest chain of mobile telecom retail outlets in Russia, jointly owned with VEON.
At present there is no certainty as to whether the potential transaction will proceed, and if so, the terms and timing of such transaction. A further announcement will be made if and when appropriate.
